Shannah Pryatel

Shannah is American born artist. She started in the performing arts, with the Minnesota Dance Theater as a ballet dancer, and achieved professional status by age 9. Through her studies in art of painting, sculpting and design she developed an interest in the fashion industry. She attended AVEDA Institute for Esthiology where she was recognized for her artistic talent by the Director of Cosmetics for Aveda and was hired as key makeup artist and create the looks for the upcoming seasons and their annual Fashion Shows. To further her creative education, she then attended CMU College of Makeup Art & Design where she advanced in Make Up and Hair for Fashion, Film, Theater and Special effects. Following graduation, she moved to Europe to work as a Makeup artist in the fashion industry. Her career took off immediately as she began working with the top Photographers, Designers, Celebrities for Magazines such as Vogue, W, Elle and Numero. After working in Paris, London and Milan for over 10 years she is now back in the US living in New York. Her talent and creative vision have been recognized by her clients as well. Shannah has a feel for what direction a company needs to attract the right clientele for their brand and has often been commissioned as Art Director to create the overall look for the next campaign. In 2016 she was hired by  jewelry designer Janis Savitt as the head of marketing. She designed the layout and overall look for her website and social media direction. Janis Savitt is a well know New Yorker who designs for Ralph Lauren and who's jewelry often graces the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Harpers Bazaar magazines and  is featured in Oprah magazine as Oprah's favorite things.. During this time, she continued freelancing and was sought out by MAC Cosmetics. Shannah became one of their top Artists as well as a mentor  managed other artists for the company.
